About God Stories
“God Stories” is a 15-minute radio program with co-hosts Tim Frantz and Michael Patrick Blues, both Christian recording artists. The show features the stories of everyday people who have had a dynamic encounter with God in some experiential and life-changing way. Tim and Michael find the stories and make arrangements for a 3-way phone call which is recorded at Tim’s Mountain Dog Musicworks Recording Studio (Oak View, CA). The bulk of the program is the person telling the story while the co-hosts moderate with questions and comments in a spontaneous and authentic manner, which can be sometimes deeply meaningful and at other times a fun bantering back-and-forth style humor. Always real, informal, and God-honoring, the discussions include personal testimonies of salvation, deliverance, supernatural provision, healings and miracles. Tim and Michael's music is also often featured on the show with a tie-in, supportive message to the story. With many shows already completed, the program is moving forward rapidly in production and now expanding to more stations and sponsors.

Tim's family, a wife and three daughters, have been attending Jubilee Church of Camarillo for about 20 years. Tim has been active in the music ministry of many local churches since moving to Ventura in 1979.
Michael Blues
Michael Patrick Blues is a singer, songwriter and guitar player who has worked with John Lennon producer Lee Decarlo, Terry Reid (Cream, Led Zeppelin), the Eagles, Andrae Crouch, and many more legendary artists. Michael's life and career hit bottom after the bankruptcy of a major client, and the loss of his father and home, which started him on a bout with alcohol abuse. Desperate and homeless, Michael cried out to God for help, and after a long process of deliverance ended up on the doorstep of Mountain Dog Musicworks Recording Studio. Studio owner Tim Frantz, a Christian, saw Michael's sincere heart to follow after God and became a spiritual mentor for Michael, spending much time in the studio developing his music and producing CDs for him to sell to provide some income for his family. Today he's out there on the streets of Ventura, sharing his heartfelt Gospel Blues CDs with people from all walks of life - those who've experienced the best and the worst of times. For over 3 years his music and personal ministry have touched the hearts and lives of many on a daily basis, including heroin addicts, disabled veterans, and many homeless in need, and many who would not likely set foot in a local church.
After a providential run-in with KDAR radio representative Steve Button, Michael got the idea to start a radio program that could feature the life-changing stories of the “God encounters” he was experiencing on the streets. After pitching the idea to Tim, a partnership was formed and “God Stories” became a reality.
